I have known Paul E. Nelson for close to 25 years, however we lost touch after my divorce in 2012 because he was a close friend of my ex-husband and, well, let's just say I was not really invited to be friends with his friends....long story. Anyway, Paul and I recently reconnected and I'm learning more and more about his amazing journey through the literary world and his experience interviewing. American Prophets: Interviews with Thinkers, Activists, Poets & Visionaries is the title of his latest work. Paul is the founder of SPLAB/Seattle Poetics LAB and Founding Director of the Cascadia Poetry Festival. On February 3, 2019, I attended a reading at Elliot Bay Book Co. where Paul shared some of the amazing interviews with the famous poets and activists such as Allen Ginsburg, Jean Houston, and Bhagavan Das. I had the distinct honor of assisting with the editing of this book and am so proud of Paul and all of his accomplishments. Hats off to you my friend, Paul!
